Ralph Del Rio Founder and CEO

Ralph Del Rio has a vision and a mission. This mission is to have a
place that will provide educational opportunities through science and research to search for cures to the potentially devastating diseases to grapevines and vineyards. The vision is for this place to be dedicated exclusively to protecting and promoting grapevine education while promoting the Viticulture and Enology production in the winery but also the storage, analysis, preservation of wine including the health benefits of wine which comprise the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, cognitive decline,

About the Wine Correspondent Alliance
At its core, Wine Correspondent Alliance promotes the appreciation and advancement of wine, all wine, American and International. Fostering the knowledge of wine and oenology, to promote the
responsible use of alcohol and educate wine tasters, winemakers, wine-grape growers, and the wine-community. Likewise, it is through the wine alliance and Wine Correspondent's
foundation that we support the acute need for professional development of qualified experts and scientists to ensure the growth of the American wine industry with scholarships to further studies and research to discover cures for grapevine diseases.

Similarly, due to convergent technologies in the fields of research that focus on biomedicine, evidence-based practices, STEM, and sustainability, impact the wine, healthcare and security industries; the Wine Correspondent Alliance supports students entering the wine, agriculture, health and biocentric industries seeking additional educational financial resources. With the help of scholarships this urgent need for accomplished professionals to undertake education in biocentric innovation, virology, enology, viticulture, economics, food safety, STEM, and the health aspects of food and wine can be addressed.

For winemakers, grapevine diseases can be devastating. Unfortunately, there are many kinds of vine diseases that thrive in all sorts of conditions. These scholarships help students continue their
ongoing learning, research and experimentation to keep these diseases under control.

We believe the backing of educational and research activities will develop the essential viticultural and enological sciences to support a world-class North American wine industry and also research inspired from these natural systems for clinical practices. This Wine Correspondent Alliance is meant for uniting for mutual benefit, building relationships and furthering the common interests of
the members.

Standardization of Charity Administrative Expenses Report
It has been a long-standing rule among the nonprofit industry to look at administrative costs as a benchmark to the financial health of the organization. Historically, the magic number was any costs under 30 percent represented a charity that was at least making an attempt to maintain fiscal responsibility. Recent schools of thought have suggested the most successful charities can't be judged by their administrative costs alone but should be valued by their effectiveness and impact as well.

 What’s Included in Administrative Costs
The costs of running a charity are called administrative costs or sometimes called overhead. These expenses are made up of anything required for the organization to exist that doesn’t fall into the
categories of fundraising, program activities, or membership activities.

Administrative, or management, costs typically include:
 Human resource and accounting staff
 Portions of Director and employee salaries
 Information technologies dedicated to infrastructure and
operations
 Production of an annual report
 Office supplies
 Building utilities
 Legal services
 Board of Director expenses
